Joel
Having spent much of his career as an Operations Manager in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution for the building industry, Joel has developed a strong appreciation for process, systems, structure, and discipline—and how these elements combine to deliver exceptional service. After stepping away from corporate life to establish his own business, Joel has carried forward the knowledge, skills, and experience gained from his previous roles. Today, he applies them to a continuous pursuit of excellence and professionalism, values he instils throughout the EcoKleenSolar team. Outside of work, Joel enjoys watching rugby league and spending time with his wife, Claudia, and their teenage son. A keen musician, he is also a proud member of the Western Lake Macquarie Concert Band.
Claudia
A signwriter by trade, Claudia brings strong customer service skills and an ability to manage demanding schedules while maintaining quality. She was the original administration contact for EcoKleenSolar alongside Joel and now focuses more on the behind-the-scenes processes that keep everything running smoothly. From finance to scheduling, Claudia ensures the team has the structure and support needed to consistently deliver on commitments. You may still catch her on the phone when Jess or Alex take a well-deserved break, or during particularly busy periods. Most importantly, Claudia is the one keeping Joel in check and making sure the operation flows seamlessly. Outside of work, Claudia is a devoted mum to her teenage son—often doubling as his personal taxi service—and she enjoys bargain hunting whenever the opportunity arises.
Jess
Coming from a retail background, Jess is the bright and bubbly voice that greets you when you first connect with EcoKleenSolar. As the central hub of the business, she keeps everything running smoothly—arranging quotes, booking appointments, sending out promotions, and supporting Joel and the team in countless ways. Her focus is always on ensuring customers receive the best possible service while keeping communication clear and consistent. Outside of work, Jess enjoys gaming, computers, and design, and she’s just as comfortable behind the handlebars of her motorcycle as she is behind a desk.
Isla
With a background as a Marketing Specialist and Assistant Manager for Activations in the airline and e-commerce industries, Isla is the central hub connecting our digital outreach to physical service delivery. She manages the end-to-end marketing lifecycle, ensuring every day-to-day task aligns with our long-term growth. By driving social media strategy and brand awareness, Isla ensures a seamless experience for both the business and our customers. Outside of work, Isla is a true lover of the island life; when she isn’t surfing the waves of Siargao, she’s likely cooking, reading, or hunting down the best new coffee spots.
David
Dave is the longest-serving member of the team, having first joined Joel in the early days to lend a hand on larger commercial jobs while still running his own property maintenance and cleaning business. As EcoKleenSolar grew, Dave transitioned from a casual role into permanent part-time, and eventually into the full-time position he holds today. With a background in sales and customer service, Dave brings professionalism and reliability to every project. He is often the go-to for commercial work, where his experience and steady approach are invaluable. Outside of work, Dave enjoys travelling with his wife and is an avid soccer fan, following most professional leagues across the globe.
Cooper
Originally from Far North Queensland, Cooper moved to the region to be closer to family — and it’s been our gain ever since. Cheery, cheeky, yet equally diligent and driven, he’s a natural team player who has quickly become an asset to EcoKleenSolar. With previous experience working on roofs, Cooper is agile and confident on the tools, and he has established himself as a highly competent bird-proofer. Despite his young age, he is mature, focused, and professional, always ready to support his teammates. A keen rugby league follower and passionate Cowboys fan, Cooper also grew up playing alongside a number of players who have graduated into the NRL pathways system and is a pretty handy player himself.
James
Central Coast native and the team’s resident car fanatic, James joined us with a background in the solar industry and an innate ability to hit the ground running. He perfectly balances a chirpy personality and office banter with a diligent, prideful approach to customer service that made him an ideal fit from day one. When he isn’t talking shop or under a hood, James is a lifelong, ever-optimistic Wests Tigers fan who, despite being too young to remember their last finals run, firmly believes this is the year they turn it all around.
